Hi, I’m Terry, the person behind the camera at Capture That Films.

Every wedding I film is different, and that’s exactly why I love what I do. It’s not just about making a video, it’s about being part of a day that means everything to the people in it, and creating something they’ll be able to look back on for the rest of their lives. I handcraft every film making sure it matches your personality and style of your Wedding Day.

My approach to filming weddings is simple. I keep things natural, relaxed, and as unobtrusive as possible. I don’t believe in turning your wedding into a film set or having cameras in your face all day. Most couples tell me they forget I’m even there after a while, and that’s always the best compliment I can get. The best moments happen when you’re just enjoying the day with the people you care about.

Like a lot of people in this industry, my journey didn’t start overnight. I’ve always been interested in media, music, and anything tech-related, and after years working around weddings and events, everything naturally led back to filming them. I started by filming for friends and family, learning as I went, making mistakes, improving, and slowly building something I’m really proud of today.

When I’m Not Filming Weddings

Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find me outdoors, up a mountain, out walking, or spending time with my kids. I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy filming weddings so much…I like being around people, I like real moments, and I like days that don’t feel the same every time.

Choosing your wedding videographer is a big decision, and it’s important you feel comfortable with the person you pick. You’re spending a huge part of your day with them, after all. My aim is always to feel more like part of the day than someone hired to film it.

If you’re looking for a wedding film that reflects you as a couple, feels personal, natural, and is made with care, get in touch and say hello…I’d love to hear your plans.
